TradersWay Overview
TradersWay, also written Traders Way, is a forex and CFD broker operating since 2011. It is run by TW Corp, registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica, and it runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader, with a low $10 entry across its accounts. One point to know up front, covered in detail below, is that it is not regulated by a major financial authority. The sections below set out its accounts, regulation, costs, funding, and platforms so you can judge whether it fits the way you trade
| RebateGain does not currently offer cashback on TradersWay. If you would like us to add it, let us know, and in the meantime you can earn a rebate on the brokers we already cover. |
TradersWay Account Types
TradersWay keeps a low barrier to entry: every account opens from just $10. The accounts split by platform and pricing model. The VAR account uses variable spreads with no commission, while the ECN accounts use raw spreads plus a commission per lot. Leverage runs up to 1:1000 on the MetaTrader accounts and up to 1:500 on cTrader.
| Account | Min. deposit | Platforms | Pricing model | Max leverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MT4.VAR | $10 | MT4 | Variable spread, no commission | up to 1:1000 |
| MT4.ECN | $10 | MT4 | Raw spread + commission | up to 1:1000 |
| MT5.ECN | $10 | MT5 | Raw spread + commission | up to 1:1000 |
| CT.ECN | $10 | cTrader | Raw spread + commission | up to 1:500 |
MT4.VAR Account
The MT4.VAR account uses variable spreads with no separate commission, opening from $10 on MT4. The cost sits in the spread, which keeps things simple, and the low entry makes it easy to start small. It suits a trader who wants one cost figure to follow rather than tracking spread and commission separately.
Advantages
- $10 minimum deposit
- No commission to track
- Runs on MT4 with full EA support
Disadvantages
- Variable spreads are wider than the ECN accounts
- Costs add up for high-frequency trading
MT4.ECN and MT5.ECN Accounts
The ECN accounts narrow the spread toward the raw market price and charge a commission per lot instead, on MT4 or MT5, again from $10. They suit active traders who feel the cost on every trade. Confirm whether the commission is charged per side or per round turn before you trade, since that changes the headline number.
Advantages
- Raw spreads from a low $10 entry
- Choice of MT4 or MT5
- Usually cheaper for active, higher-volume trading
Disadvantages
- A commission applies on top of the spread
- Two cost components to track instead of one
CT.ECN Account
The CT.ECN account runs on cTrader, with raw spreads and a commission per lot, from $10. It suits traders who prefer cTrader’s depth-of-market view and order tools. Leverage on this account is up to 1:500, lower than the 1:1000 on the MetaTrader accounts.
Advantages
- Raw spreads on the cTrader platform
- cTrader's depth-of-market and order tools
- Low $10 entry
Disadvantages
- Leverage capped at 1:500, lower than the MetaTrader accounts
- A commission applies on top of the spread
Regulation & Safety
TradersWay is operated by TW Corp, a company registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica (registration number 15690). It is not regulated by a major financial authority such as the FCA, ASIC, or CySEC.
What that means in practice: there is no major-regulator compensation scheme behind your account, and less external oversight than a regulated broker carries. That is not the same as the broker being a scam, and TradersWay has operated since 2011, but it does put more of the due diligence on you. If regulatory protection is a priority, weigh that against brokers that hold a recognised licence. Whatever you choose, a sensible approach is to start with a small amount and run a test withdrawal early to confirm the process before committing more.
Spreads, Commissions & Fees
TradersWay charges in one of two ways. The VAR account is spread-based, with the cost in the spread and no separate commission. The ECN accounts use raw spreads plus a commission per lot. Where a commission applies, check whether it is charged per side or per round turn, since that doubles the headline number.
TradersWay spreads are not published in a single, easy-to-find live table, and any “from” figure is a best-case number seen in liquid hours rather than the average you should plan around. The reliable way to read your real cost on a pair is to watch it in the platform across a normal session, and to check the current schedule for any swap or withdrawal fees.
Advantages
- Spread-only VAR account keeps cost to one number
- Raw ECN pricing available from a low $10 entry
- Choice of variable or raw-spread pricing
Disadvantages
- Exact spread and commission figures are not published in one place
- Commission terms vary by account, so confirm before funding
Deposits & Withdrawals
TradersWay supports a range of funding methods, including cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrency in many cases, which has long been one of the broker’s draws. The exact methods, minimums, and processing times depend on your region, so confirm the current list inside your client portal before funding.
Two habits matter even more with an unregulated broker: withdraw back to the same method you funded with, and run a small test withdrawal early to confirm the process and the real timeline before committing larger amounts.
Advantages
- Cards, e-wallets and crypto funding in many regions
- Low $10 minimum makes starting small easy
Disadvantages
- Exact methods and limits depend on your region, so confirm them first
- Check the schedule for any withdrawal fees before funding
Leverage & Instruments
Leverage on TradersWay reaches up to 1:1000 on the MetaTrader accounts and up to 1:500 on cTrader. Because the broker is not bound by the leverage caps that regulators like the FCA apply, the headline figure is high, and high leverage magnifies losses as much as gains. Size your positions to the risk rather than the cap. As usual, the top figure is for major forex pairs, with metals, indices, and crypto carrying lower limits.
On the instrument side, TradersWay covers the main CFD asset classes across its platforms. The full, current list is available inside the terminal once you open an account; confirm any specific market you plan to trade before funding.
| Asset class | What you can trade |
|---|---|
| Forex | Major, minor and exotic currency pairs |
| Metals | Gold, silver and other metals |
| Energies | Crude oil and energy products |
| Indices | Major global stock indices |
| Cryptocurrencies | Popular crypto pairs |
Advantages
- Covers forex, metals, energies, indices and crypto
- High leverage available for traders who want it
- One account can span several asset classes
Disadvantages
- Leverage up to 1:1000 magnifies losses as much as gains
- Instruments are CFDs, giving price exposure, not ownership
Trading Platforms
TradersWay runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and cTrader.
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5
These are the industry standard for retail forex and CFD trading. You can download MT4 or MT5 for desktop, web, or mobile, and any custom expert advisors, indicators, or chart setups carry across to TradersWay without rebuilding. MT5 adds more timeframes, a built-in economic calendar, and broader asset coverage.
cTrader
cTrader is available on the CT.ECN account, chosen by traders who prefer its depth-of-market view and advanced order tools. It is a different interface from MetaTrader, so try it on a demo first if you have not used it before.
Demo accounts
Demo accounts are available so you can test a strategy or get used to a platform before funding a live account. With an unregulated broker, a demo is also a low-risk way to see how the platform and execution behave before you deposit.
