Doo Prime Overview

Doo Prime, sometimes written as D Prime, is a multi-asset broker established in 2014. It holds licenses across several authorities, including the FCA in the United Kingdom and ASIC in Australia, and it runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, the Doo Prime InTrade app, and TradingView. The broker offers three account types, from a $5 cent account up to commission-based ECN trading. The sections below set out its accounts, regulation, costs, funding, and platforms so you can judge whether it fits the way you trade.

RebateGain does not currently offer cashback on Doo Prime. If you would like us to add it, let us know, and in the meantime you can earn a rebate on the brokers we already cover.

Doo Prime Account Types

Doo Prime offers three account types. The CENT account trades in cent lots from a very low $5, the STP account is spread-based with no commission, and the ECN account uses raw spreads with a commission per lot. All three run on the same platforms and carry leverage up to 1:1000.

AccountMin. depositPlatformsPricing modelMax leverage
CENT$5MT4, MT5, InTrade, TradingViewSpread, cent lotsup to 1:1000
STP$100MT4, MT5, InTrade, TradingViewSpread-based, no commissionup to 1:1000
ECN$100MT4, MT5, InTrade, TradingViewRaw spread + commissionup to 1:1000

CENT Account

The CENT account is built for trading in very small sizes. It opens from just $5, trades in cent lots, and carries leverage up to 1:1000. It suits a beginner testing a strategy or an expert advisor with real money before scaling up. Treat the high leverage with care, since it magnifies losses as much as gains.

Advantages

  • Opens from just $5
  • Cent lots keep risk small while you learn
  • Runs on MT4 and MT5 with full EA support

Disadvantages

  • You will outgrow cent sizing as your account grows
  • Leverage up to 1:1000 magnifies losses as much as gains

STP Account

The STP account opens from $100 and builds the cost into the spread, with no separate commission. For a trader who wants one simple cost figure across MetaTrader, the InTrade app, or TradingView, it is the straightforward default.

Advantages

  • No separate commission to track
  • Runs on every Doo Prime platform
  • Leverage up to 1:1000

Disadvantages

  • Spreads are wider than the ECN account
  • Costs add up for high-frequency trading

ECN Account

The ECN account narrows the spread toward the raw market price and charges a commission per lot instead, also from $100. It suits active traders who feel the cost on every trade. Confirm whether the commission is charged per side or per round turn before you trade, since that changes the headline number.

Advantages

  • Raw spreads from near 0.0 pips
  • Usually cheaper for active, higher-volume trading
  • Leverage up to 1:1000

Disadvantages

  • A commission applies on top of the spread
  • Two cost components to track instead of one

Regulation & Safety

Doo Prime holds licenses across several authorities, which is a point in its favor. As with most international brokers, the license that actually covers your account depends on which Doo Prime entity you register under, so open your client agreement and confirm the contracting entity before funding.

FCA (United Kingdom)

Doo Prime is associated with FCA authorization in the United Kingdom. The FCA is one of the most rigorous regulators in the world, with strict capital, governance, and conduct standards. Confirm in your client agreement whether your account is held under the FCA entity, since retail terms such as leverage caps differ by entity.

ASIC (Australia)

Doo Prime is also associated with ASIC authorization in Australia. An ASIC license carries capital and conduct requirements and client-money segregation rules. As with the FCA, confirm whether your account sits under the ASIC entity, as that determines the rules that apply to you.

FSA, VFSC, and LFSA (Seychelles, Vanuatu and Labuan)

Doo Prime also holds licenses with the FSA in Seychelles, the VFSC in Vanuatu, and the LFSA in Labuan, Malaysia. These are the entities that commonly serve international retail clients and that allow the higher leverage figures, up to 1:1000. If your contracting entity is one of these, those are the rules that apply to your leverage and compensation rights.

Spreads, Commissions & Fees

Doo Prime charges in one of two ways. The CENT and STP accounts are spread-based, with the cost in the spread and no separate commission. The ECN account uses raw spreads plus a commission per lot. Where a commission applies, check whether it is charged per side or per round turn, since that doubles the headline number.

Doo Prime spreads are not published in a single, easy-to-find live table, and any “from” figure is a best-case number seen in liquid hours rather than the average you should plan around. The reliable way to read your real cost on a pair is to watch it in the platform across a normal session, and to check the current schedule for any swap or withdrawal fees.

Advantages

  • Spread-only CENT and STP accounts keep cost to one number
  • Raw ECN pricing for active traders
  • Cent account lets you start from just $5

Disadvantages

  • Exact spread and commission figures are not published in one place
  • Commission terms vary by account, so confirm before funding

Deposits & Withdrawals

Doo Prime supports a range of funding methods, including bank cards, wire transfer, e-wallets, and cryptocurrency in many regions. The exact options open to you, along with any minimums and processing times, depend on your region, so confirm the current list inside your client portal before funding.

Two habits are worth keeping with any broker: withdraw back to the same method you funded with, since compliance teams usually require it, and run a small test withdrawal early to confirm the process and the real timeline before larger amounts are involved.

Advantages

  • Card, wire, e-wallet and crypto options in many regions
  • Low entry makes starting small easy

Disadvantages

  • Exact methods and limits depend on your region, so confirm them first
  • Check the schedule for any withdrawal fees before funding

Leverage & Instruments

Leverage on Doo Prime reaches up to 1:1000, though the cap you receive depends on the entity you register under: clients under the FCA or ASIC face lower regulatory caps, while the higher figure applies on the Seychelles, Vanuatu, and Labuan entities. High leverage magnifies losses as much as gains, so size your positions to the risk rather than the cap. As usual, the top figure is for major forex pairs; metals, indices, and crypto carry lower limits.

On the instrument side, Doo Prime covers a broad range of markets across its platforms. The full, current list is available inside the terminal once you open an account; confirm any specific market you plan to trade before funding.

Asset classWhat you can trade
ForexMajor, minor and exotic currency pairs
MetalsGold, silver and other metals
EnergiesCrude oil and energy products
IndicesMajor global stock indices
SharesStock and share CFDs on listed companies
CryptocurrenciesPopular crypto pairs (where available)

Advantages

  • Broad range across forex, metals, energies, indices, shares and crypto
  • High leverage available where the entity allows it
  • One account can span several asset classes

Disadvantages

  • Leverage up to 1:1000 magnifies losses as much as gains
  • Instruments are CFDs, giving price exposure, not ownership

Trading Platforms

Doo Prime runs on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, the Doo Prime InTrade app, and TradingView.

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5

These are the industry standard for retail forex and CFD trading. If you already run custom expert advisors, indicators, or a chart setup in MT4, it carries across to the Doo Prime MT4 platform without rebuilding. The Doo Prime MT5 platform adds more timeframes, a built-in economic calendar, and broader asset coverage. Both run on all three account types, with a web terminal available too.

Doo Prime InTrade app

The Doo Prime app, called InTrade, handles account management, monitoring, and order placement on the move. Confirm the current feature set in the app store listing, since mobile apps are updated often.

TradingView

Doo Prime connects to TradingView, so you can trade inside TradingView’s charting environment directly. It is a useful fit if your analysis already lives there, since you can keep execution in the same place.

Demo accounts

Demo accounts are available so you can test a strategy or get used to a platform before funding a live account.
